Twenty-One Tara Puja for H. E. Choden Rinpoche,
Sera Monastery India

sera-puja

In the middle of this month Geshe Gyalten will return to Sera Monastery in India where he will meet His Eminence Choden Rinpoche and help organize special prayers and pujas.

Sera Monastery will host a special prayer and puja for H. E. Choden Rinpoche, with 3000 monks in attendance, doing 100,000 recitations of Praise to the Twenty-One Taras. The prayers and puja will be dedicated to Choden Rinpoche's health, long-life, and supplication for Rinpoche to turn the wheel of Dharma extensively.

Everyone is welcome to participate in supporting this event and the monks at Sera Monastery. One can participate by offering a monetary donation which will go towards food, drink, and offerings to the monks of Sera Monastery.

There are three ways to donate:

  • Donate on-line at Network for Good. Please select "Ananda Dharma Center" for the Program Designation, and write "Rinpoche Puja" in the Dedication entry field.
  • Mail a check to the center (please include "Rinpoche Puja" in the memo-line)
  • Drop off a check at the center in the offering box (please include "Rinpoche Puja" in the memo-line)
Please try to ensure donations are received by Monday, February 13th, since Geshe-la will be leaving for India shortly thereafter.

This is a wonderful opportunity to generate positive merit, to create causes and conditions for Rinpoche to continue to teach and guide us, and to support the Dharma for the benefit of innumerable beings.

(Note that this puja does not indicate an ill turn of health for Rinpoche. He is in good health currently).
