Logistics
Unless otherwise indicated, events are offered free, there are no prerequisites, they are open to everyone, & you can drive directly to the center. You can also request a shuttle from a nearby parking area, if you like. RSVPs and Donations are greatly appreciated.
RSVP & Registration: If an event does not have a formal registration process, but you think it may still attract a large number of people, please RSVP. RSVP will: reserve you a cushion until the event starts; allow us to prepare the Gompa more efficiently, making sure as many people as possible can sit inside comfortably; let us know when we need to set up audio and seating outside the Gompa, making sure you can hear the teachings and be comfortable; and allow us to plan accordingly for parking and shuttles if necessary. If an event does have a formal registration process, please register for the same reasons.
Parking: If you drive directly to the center, you can park in one of two areas:
(1) Drive to the bottom of the drive way, turn around and, as you head back up the hill, park on the right side of the driveway (right as you face uphill) forming a line of cars going up the hill, leaving the other side open; or
(2) When you first come through the property gates, immediately after the gate on your right is a dirt driveway. Please pull as far forward as possible, to allow as many cars as possible to fit behind you, and park on the same side as everyone else, to allow cars to get in and out around you.
Please do not park outside the property gates on the street, nor on the paved fire road at the top of property . Thank you.
