Ananda Dharma Center mission:
Ananda Dharma Center is a non-profit organization, founded in 2005 by H.E. Choden Rinpoche and Khen Rinpoche Geshe Gyalten Kungka . We are a Tibetan Buddhist Center, practicing Vajrayana Buddhism under the Gelug tradition of his holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. Our goal is to provide educational programs, to all Buddhist seekers and practitioners, on how to live a fulfilling and meaningful lives, and lessening the suffering of oneself and others. We strive to achieve this through weekly Dharma Teachings, special teachings by visiting Rinpoches and Geshes from Nepal and India, occasional retreats, both locally and in Nepal, and special prayers and events. Our programs explore how the universal wisdom and compassion of the ancient Buddhist tradition can transform our own lives, as well as bring practical benefit to the world.
