Commentary to The Practice of Prostrations to the 35 Confession Buddhas,
by Ven. Gyalten Tsondue, April 2017

Ven. Tsondue wrote a short commentary to the practice, explaining how the practice originated, how it includes within it the 4 Opponent Powers and the 7 Limb Practice, as well as an explanation of 4 essential points of karmic functioning, providing an understanding of why it is so important to engage in purification practices. The commentary is attached.

Sometimes our Teachers write commentaries on various teachings, prayers, and rituals, and sometimes they simply have short profound quotes.  We would like to share them with you here, as well as post occasional notes about special events.

Choden Rinpoche’s vision around the world.  Ananda is a more localized community of practitioners.  Founded in 2005 by H.E. Choden Rinpoche and Geshe Gyalten, we are part of the Gelug tradition and also uphold the whole of the Buddha Dharma.
